Shahnaz is a solicitor and based at our Hoddesdon office.

Shahnaz trained and qualified as a solicitor with a firm in Essex in 2008 and he worked for the same firm for a total of 17 years and was promoted to Partner. He joined Duffield Harrison in February 2024 as the Head of Commercial Property Department.

Shahnaz has wealth of experience of dealing with all aspects of commercial property transactions and advises clients on freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals, auction purchases and sales, the drafting and negotiation of leases, lease assignments and extensions, remortgages, refinancing, plot sales, transfer of part, deed of variations and asset/goodwill sale and acquisitions of small businesses.

Outside of work, Shahnaz enjoys hiking and going for long walks and he has two teenage children to keep him busy.
